Xiao Faria daCunha

Xiao Faria daCunha is a practicing visual artist and an independent journalist covering what’s happening in the Midwest belt, focusing on lifestyle, art, and culture. Her visual art practice includes mixed-media illustration on paper, printmaking, and mixed-media collage. Xiao was the former Managing Editor for Urban Matter Chicago and her bylines have appeared in Chicago Reader, BlockClub, BRIDGE.CHICAGO, KCUR, The Pitch KC, and more. Xiao’s artistic and writing practice explores the intimate, vulnerable truth of the BIPOC, migrant, immigrant, and diaspora communities. She considers everything she does art journalism and aims to speak on behalf of those who haven’t been heard and shed light on what hasn’t been seen, whether it’s emotional, cultural, or societal. By weaving her personal experience with public narratives, Xiao creates emotional and engaging conversations to interrogate, challenge, and advance existing perceptions of women, Asian diasporas, and other immigration populations.

Jessica Todd

Jessica Todd is a curator, writer, artist, and arts administrator living in Tampa, Florida. She is passionate about building the creative infrastructures that support artists and arts communities, and seeks to amplify the voices of under-represented artists through her writing and curatorial projects. Jessica holds an MFA in Jewelry/Metals from Kent State University and a BA in Art from Penn State University. She is currently the Gallery Manager from Florida CraftArt in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Mina Dulce

Mina Dulce is a visual artist and photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around her and inspiring others. Raised in a vibrant artistic community in Tampa, Florida, Mina’s creative journey began at an early age. Encouraged by her loved ones to explore her artistic talents, she immersed herself in various forms of expression, from painting and jewelry to photography and beyond. Mina has lived in Guatemala, Israel, and Philadelphia where she continued to photograph her surroundings with a unique perspective. She is an enthusiast for travel, nature, and conservation, human rights, and mental health awareness.

Izzy Pav

Isabel Pav is a graduate of Eckerd College with a Bachelor’s of Arts. Pav’s international background inspires her interest in community and art. Further, working as a children’s art teacher during the summer helps to investigate the way we relate to art and the world around us. And thus, to write is to present these connections as food for thought.

Jordan Kriseman

Originally from Saint Petersburg, FL, Jordan Kriseman now resides in Austin, TX. She received her BA in Art History with a minor in Sustainability Studies from the University of Florida in 2020. In 2023, Kriseman received her MA in Art History from University of Texas at Austin where she wrote a thesis on the Danish artist Per Kirkeby. Previously, she has interned and worked at The Dalí Museum in Saint Petersburg and testsite Gallery in Austin. Currently, she works as an internship Coordinator and Administrative Associate at the UT Austin School of Advertising and PR and is a docent with the Landmarks Public Arts Program. In her free time, you can find Kriseman knitting or hanging out with her three-year old black lab.

Tyler Gillespie

Tyler Gillespie is the author of the nonfiction collection The Thing about Florida: Exploring a Misunderstood State (University Press of Florida, 2021) and two poetry collections—the nature machine! (Autofocus, 2023) and Florida Man: Poems, Revisited (Burrow Press, 2024).

Robert Bohn

Robert Bohn is an artist / animator in the NYC area. His artwork has shown in various galleries, feature films, and theaters on Broadway. He has created animated shorts for Adult Swim, FOX, and Facebook Watch, where he is known for his one-of-a-kind characters, vibrant colors, and hyper animations. Currently, Bohn is welding displays and event spaces for companies, while producing animated shorts for social media.
